UMKC Law’s IP LawMeet Team, Coached by Philip Krause, to Compete for National Championship

For the second consecutive year, the IP LawMeet Team representing the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, coached by Krause Law’s founder Philip Krause, has won the regional competition in Chicago and will compete for the national title. The national competition will be held Friday, November 6, 2015, via video link from the UMKC law school courtroom.

The UMKC team consists of three third year students, Stephen Krogmeier (team captain), Joshua Cervantes and Tariq Adawi, and three second year students, Hunter Horton, Joli Patel and Emily Pedersen. This is the fourth consecutive year for Philip Krause to coach the UMKC team. The team started working on the competition shortly after this current fall term began. Only the third year students traveled to the negotiating competition in Chicago.
