Philip Krause In “Speed Lawyering” Event

Philip Krause will participate in a “speed lawyering” event for E-Scholars on April 21, 2018. This unique event allows aspiring entrepreneurs to obtain critical early stage legal counsel from practicing lawyers on a pro bono basis, in high-intensity thirty-minute counseling sessions.

The E-Scholar (or Entrepreneurship Scholar) Program [add link to: https://bloch3.umkc.edu/entrepreneurship/entrepreneurship-scholars/ is a unique two-semester offering of the Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. This program combines academically-grounded classroom work with on-hands mentoring by experienced serial entrepreneurs and business leaders, to help equip entrepreneurs seeking to launch from the idea stage into a systematic growth plan.

In addition to his law practice, Krause serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence for the Regnier Institute’s E-Scholar program. In that capacity he lectures on key legal issues affecting entrepreneurs and early stage companies, including equity structures, legal issues for raising equity and debt financing, licensing and distribution agreements, and negotiating strategies.
